Dr. Matthew Marcotte, DC, CFMP (Founder)
Dr. Matthew Marcotte has been a board certified Chiropractic Physician since 2002. He is originally from Ontario, Canada. Since arriving here in Columbus in 2006, he has stayed and practiced locally in the Lewis Center area proudly serving his community. He found himself wanting to find better answers for patients healthcare concerns rather then just the pill for every ill approach. This lead him to gaining his certification in Functional Medicine in 2013. He knows people need better health care then just drugs and surgeries. They need to find the root cause of their health concerns and correct those. He specializes in digestive and autoimmune conditions. Dr. Marcotte himself suffered with both those conditions and through his functional medicine approach he found the answers he never was able to get from traditional medical approaches. He knows what if feels like not getting the answers we all deserve. The best compliment he gets from the patients is that Dr. Marcotte listens and has a true passion to help people find solutions. He looks forward to meeting anyone that wants to find answers for their healthcare needs.
Dr. Jamie Kirtley, DC
Dr. Jamie Kirtley has been a board-certified chiropractic physician since 2001. Originally from Canfield, OH, Dr. Kirtley graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in biology and psychology. She continued her education at National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, where she obtained her Doctorate in 2001. Dr. Kirtley enjoys helping people find the root cause of their problem and pain and helping not only correct those issues but also help prevent them in the future. Having three very active children, she also has a particular passion for helping athletes, especially adolescents, recover and return to play quickly.
Melinda Everman-Moore, CNP
After over 10 years as an Adjunct professor and gaining her PhD in Exercise and Health, Melinda decided on a career change and obtained her BSN and NP license in 2017. Since then, she has been able to explore additional natural approaches to healthcare and medical aesthetics. Melinda is trained and certified to perform Botox, Dermal Fillers, Laser Hair Removal, Laser Resurfacing, RF Microneedling, Nutritional IV Therapy, Hair Restoration, and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement. She is extremely thrilled to be a part of the Pure Health team so she can shine in her passion of helping patients feel and look their best! In her free time, she loves spending time with her twin boys, completing home improvement projects, and gardening. Fun Fact: Melinda is also a certified Zumba Instructor and teaches classes!
Jennifer Lige (Esthetician)
Jennifer became an Esthetician after completing the Master Esthetics program at the Spa School of Columbus before continuing her education and becoming a certified Acne Specialist with Face Reality. After years of working in another industry, she realized her passion was in skin care and that is what her career needed to be. Her career as an Esthetician allows her to truly impact someone’s life by spending the time with them and allowing them to unwind, decompress, and feel good about the skin they’re in. Jennifer is passionate about educating her clients on a treatment plan that would be best for them to meet their skincare goals and get long-term results. She is always improving with education and certifications to ensure a wonderful top notch experience every visit and she can’t wait to meet you!
Jessica Caipen, LMT, CIMI
Jessie has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 12 years. She has an uncanny ability to find every trigger point you never knew was even there. As a Migraine sufferer, she enjoys helping others get relief from them without the use of medicine. Jessie is certified in Prenatal, Infant, Reflexology, Ortho-Bionomy, Swedish, and Neuromuscular Therapy. In her spar time, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
Elizabeth (Beth) Peer, LMT
Meet, Elizabeth (Beth), our Licensed Massage Therapist with over 10 years of experience in both clinical and spa settings. She is certified in Muscle Release Therapy, Lymphatic, Lymphedema, Craniosacral, Neuromuscular, Prenatal, Infant, and Sports Massage Techniques. Beth’s goal as a therapist is to help each individual feel release from tension and strain to enjoy a happy healthier life. Always learning, she is working on er bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Integrative Wellness to assist patients who are looking to lose weight, increase energy, and reverse disease. In her spare time, she enjoys Football, Soccer, Hiking, and spending time with family.
Theodora Dawes-Bailey (Office Manager)
Theodora is the Office Manager for Pure Health Medical. With nearly 9 years of professional experience, she is responsible for the day-to-day management of the office, including insurance claim processing, staff supervision, credentialing, financial consultations, auditing, assisting our doctors with clients, and anything else that needs done! Her incredible organization skills keep our team running smoothly. Theodora received her certification and training for Health and Recreational Services in 2012. She is also certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid. She started out making floral arrangements for weddings and events, but her love of healthcare inspired her to seek a career where she could focus on helping the community find natural healthcare solutions and the root cause of their symptoms. A native of Ohio, she lives in Grove City with her two boys Keagan and Karter. In her free time, she enjoys boating, board games, wood-working and restoring old furniture. Mackenzee Web (Patient Coordinator)
Mackenzee joined Pure Health Medical in 2023 as the Receptionist and Patient Coordinator. Prior to Pure Health, she worked in the medspa industry as a Lisenced Cosmetologist in California. After moving to Ohio to be closer to her family, Mackenzee wanted to focus her outstanding customer service skills and bubbly personality to positively impact a wider variety of clientele in the industry. When she’s not working, Mackenzee enjoys spending time with family and cheering on her Neices and Nephews during their sporting events. Fun Facts: She’s a marathon runner and has been a cheer and gymnastics coach for 13 years!
McKenna Smetanko
McKenna is our Patient Coordinator. She graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art and a Minor in Art History and has worked in several forms of customer service including at a pet resort and a teacher at a private institute. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with patients on a day-to-day basis while developing a strong patient relationship and providing a great experience in the office. Born and raised in Grove City, she has found herself the owner of eight alpacas. She now spends her time designing and self-fabricating different styles of clothing and accessories from the alpaca fleece, sketching and keeping up on some graphic design.
